SOMERSET Care staff from across the Southwest were honoured at a ceremony at Taunton Racecourse.
Over 120 award-winning staff and guests from Somerset Care Ltd, Somerset Care at Home Ltd, and Acacia Training and Development Ltd attended the event, at which staff were presented with awards in recognition of their efforts through the company's internal Awards scheme. Awards were made for Long Service totalling 790 years, with one member of staff from Taunton having worked for over 35 years.
The presentations were made by Barrie Dale (Chairman), and Andrew Larpent OBE (Chief Executive), MP Jeremy Browne, and Miriam Maddison, Corporate Director at Somerset County Council.
