A TRACTOR was "severely damaged" in a fire earlier today (Friday).

Firefighters were sent to the blaze at Luxborough at 11.38am.

The tractor was well alight when crews arrived at the scene in between Goosemoor Cross and Blagdon Lane.

Two fire engines from Minehead Fire Station and a water carrier from Bridgwater attended the incident.

The fire was extinguished using compressed air foam.

A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and rescue Service said the tractor was "severely damaged" and the cause of the fire was "accidental".
