Somerset County League Division 1: Tunley Athletic 0, Watchet Town 2.

WATCHET Town moved back up to fourth with victory at Tunley, despite playing most of the game with ten players.

Just before half-time, keeper Adam Bishop brought down a Tunley forward just inside the box. He was deemed to be the last man and, as a result, was shown a red card even though it appeared defenders were getting back to cover.

Defender Gary Trunks took over the gloves and saved the penalty and also kept out the rebound.

Until then the match was an even affair but, despite being a man down, Watchet took the game to Tunley after the break.

They displayed a great attitude and kept the ball well, eventually getting their reward with 20 minutes left when John Harris forged his way through a group of players before burying a low shot.

Watchet refused to sit on their lead and doubled the advantage ten minutes later Jason Worth's cross was headed on by Steve Wild and right back Dominic Richards showed great energy to steal in and send a looping header into the net.

Watchet are home to Brislington Reserves this Saturday.
