TAUNTON-based Blue Flames Amateur Boxing Club took two of its youngsters to Port Talbot for fights at the weekend.

First up was 14-year-old Paddy Quinn, who took his 3rd skills bout against a home boy.

Paddy controlled the bout, making great use of the ring.

He made his opponent miss and returned some fantastic shots.

Paddy has improved massively this season and will be looking to take a scored bout in the new year.

Next up was Charlie Miller, who is on a winning streak, taking her 10th bout.

The win took ensured she becomes a 50/50 boxer.

Charlie took no time at all to find her feet in the bout.

She controlled the entire fight landing some solid rear hands causing her opponent to take a count.

Charlie took a well earned unanimous win.
