THIS car was abandoned after severe flooding hit the area around the village of Muchelney over the holiday period.
Ben Birchall of PA captured the pictures earlier today (Monday, December 2).
A large swathe of countryside in the area is under water following the recent heavy downpours.
It brings back memories of the torrential and prolonged period of rainfall back in 2014 when Muchelney was cut off for weeks.
