Quantock Funeral Services have been a pillar of our community for a number of years and are now entering a new chapter under new leadership and the updated name of Quantock Funeral Directors.
Dawn Jones and Rob Parker, the new owners, have a combined experience of over 20 years, bringing a wealth of expertise and a commitment to maintain the cherished legacy built by the current team.
Dawn is keen to acknowledge the dedication of the existing team. “They have cultivated a great reputation for compassionate service”, she said. “Jean, Kevin and the whole team are invaluable in their support as we pledge to elevate client care to the highest of levels. Their dedication and familiarity with the needs of families is outstanding.”
As part of the evolution, Rob is refreshing the premises at 69 Staplegrove Road, Taunton. He said: “We want to ensure that our families experience an atmosphere of comfort and dignity during their visit. We are updating both the front and back of house, ensuring the best use of amenities as we continue to deliver highest standards of care.”

Understanding the importance of being there when it matters most, the team remains committed to serving the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at times of immediate grief and for post funeral care, Quantock stands ready to provide care, support and guidance.
Quantock Funeral Directors will continue to collaborate with the best local celebrants and clergy, ensuring that each service is conducted with the dignity and reverence it deserves.
Furthermore, existing funeral plan holders will receive notification from Golden Charter, affirming the seamless transition and their continued, independently protected, coverage.
