A NEW cycle shop has opened on the outskirts of Wellington, with hopes to be a hub for cyclists from Taunton, and the rest of Somerset.

Apple County Cycles first opened its doors for business on Saturday, March 23.

The new shop sits on the Westpark estate near to the M5, helping keen cyclists from near and afar to visit and pick up any gear they might need.

Inside, you'll find brands exclusively stocked at Apple County Cycles, meaning its the only place in the area to get your hands on them.

The shop stocks a wide range of children’s bikes starting with balance bikes for toddlers, up to 26” wheel mountain bikes for teenage riders.

Freestyle and race BMXs are also available in store as well as, gravel, electric and mountain bikes from big brands such as Orange and GT bikes.  

A spokesperson for Apple County Cycles said: "Apple County Cycles opened it’s doors on Saturday 23rd March with an event at the new shop supported by Orange Bikes who brought their pop up stand.

"The event was well attended with over 100 people coming to the shop throughout the day to see the bikes and accessories on display.

"This new cycle shop based on the modern Westpark trading estate on the outskirts of Wellington is within easy reach of the M5 and aims to service the Taunton, Wellington and wider Somerset area for the brands exclusively stocked in the area."
