THE star of Mock The Week, Alasdair Beckett-King will perform in Taunton next month.

Alasdair is a familiar face on television screens and was a Mock the Week favourite for the final two seasons.

He is taking his total sell-out Edinburgh Fringe show “Nevermore” on tour across the UK and will be in Taunton at The Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre on Friday, May 10.

Alasdair is an award-winning comedian, and last year, won Chortle’s Breakthrough Act of the Year Award.

But he’s perhaps even better known for his online sketches and distinctive animated shorts, many of which have gone mega-viral on YouTube reaching millions of viewers.

Alasdair Beckett-King won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year in 2017 and garnered a very enthusiastic critical response plus Amused Moose Comedy Award nomination with his debut Edinburgh show of the same year.

Alongside his TV appearances and YouTube fame, he has featured on BBC radio as a comedian and sketch writer and performed stand-up across the UK, at Glastonbury, Citadel Fest, the Udderbelly Southbank, and the Fringe.
