POLICE are appealing to the public for help following a "public order incident" which took place in Wincanton.
The incident took place at around 3.15pm along Crocker Way yesterday (Monday, April 22).
Over the next few days, police will be increasing their presence in the area.

A South Somerset Neighbourhood Policing spokesperson said: "We are aware of a public order incident that occurred on the 22nd of April around 3:15pm along Crocker Way in Wincanton.
"If you witnessed anything or can assist us with our enquiries, please contact us on 101 quoting 5224102733. You may see an increased presence in the area over the coming days.
"Alternatively, you can report concerns anonymously to Crime Stoppers."
