A CAR park located in Taunton town centre is set to close for an entire day to allow for 'essential maintenance work'.
Castle Street car park, near to the Halfords Autocentre, will shut all day on Thursday, April 25 whilst the works take place.
The car park with a total of 47 spaces will be out of use for all vehicles, and the nature of the works remains unclear.
Once re-opened on Friday, April 26, the car park will go back to usual operating hours; 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, including public and bank holidays.
Those hoping to utilise the car park upon reopening can use contactless, chip and pin and coins at the pay and display machine.
Alternatively you can pay for parking using PayByPhone with location code 808838.
