THE snow didn’t stop children going to Ruishton Primary School today, and the school didn’t stop the children having fun in the snow.
Head teacher Neil Dalton said: “We continued to operate despite not being able to get some staff in from outlying towns.
“I’m grateful to staff getting in to school despite icy roads and for ensuring that the school could operate normally.
“The children had the usual lessons but also enjoyed themselves in the snow. Why not, you’re only young once!”
