AT the April meeting, members were entertained by Peter Triggs who gave us a talk entitled ‘Beautiful Britain’.
With the aid of slides he took the group around Britain, through the countryside and round the coasts, with many anecdotes along the way.
The next meeting will take place at 10.30am on Thursday, May 7 in the village hall, West Buckland, when the group will have a quiz.
The group wished it to be known that they will not be holding a charity coffee morning this year due to the lack of support.
