THIEVES attempted to steal a Daihatsu vehicle from an outbuilding, in Shillingford, by manipulating the ignition steering lock.
The incident happened between 10pm and 11.30pm on Tuesday February 17.
The offenders gained access to the building, currently being used as a garage through an insecure door.
The car was not stolen in the incident.
