The death before Christmas of a former sister from Falmouth Community Hospital has prompted her friends and colleagues to organise a reunion in her honour.
Retired nurse Ann Walton was killed by a train near Penmere Station, Falmouth, last month. Friends and former associates who attended her funeral decided to stage a reunion for anyone who worked at Falmouth Hospital.
Reunion organiser Ann Bright said: "All of those who worked at the hospital, in whatever capacity, are welcome. Joys, sorrows, memories and food will be shared, together with a toast to absent friends."
The event will be held at Falmouth Bowling Club, in Tregenver Road, on the evening of February 10.
