DEVON and Cornwall Police will this morning launch an inquiry into a car accident in which one of their vehicles was reportedly involved in a head-on crash with another vehicle in Cornwall.
The accident occurred at about 8pm on a humpback railway bridge on the A30 at Victoria in Mid Cornwall.
The two officers, who were responding to another incident on the A30, received whiplash injuries.
The driver of the other car, an Audi saloon, was a 19-year-old man who suffered a minor head injury.
