Chard Town FC finally managed to win two games in a row but were pushed all the way by a resolute Shepton Mallett side in an entertaining match at Zembard Lane on January 17.
The Robins fielded an experienced squad against the basement side of the Screwfix Direct Western Division One, with all the Robins' recent signings included in the line up.
The 2-1 win followed Chard's 2-0 victory over Cadbury Heath.
