Highly-rated Reading manager Alan Pardew, who played for the Glovers in the mid 1980s, has congratulated Yeovil Town on winning the Nationwide Conference.
"I'm really chuffed for everybody down at Yeovil," he said. "I really enjoyed my time down in Somerset and I know how passionate the supporters are about their football."
Reading are currently looking ahead to the Play-Offs in the Nationwide League Division One and hoping to win a place in the Premiership.
