THREE students at The Castle School, Taunton, have been awarded free membership at Oake Manor Golf Club and professional coaching sessions.
It is part of an annual bursary awarded in memory of Andy Parker, former bursar at The Castle and club captain at Oake Manor.
Andrew Boulton, Jake Tucker and Ross Parkinson received their bursaries from youth team secretary Chris Warcup in an assembly at school following trials and an interview at the club.
Chris told students how delighted he was to be able to offer the bursaries, encouraging young people into the sport while remembering a great friend to both Castle and the Oake Manor.
