THE Rev Deborah Kirk has joined Taunton Deane and South Sedgemoor Methodist Circuit.
She is pictured being welcomed by the Rev Bruce Thompson, Superintendent Minister, at a service at Temple Methodist Church, Taunton, attended by over 300 members of the circuit.
Mrs Kirk and her husband, David, recently moved from Pensilva, Cornwall, following her appointment as a probationary Methodist minister.
She will have responsibility for Rowbarton Methodist Church in the town, as well as the Methodist Chapels in the villages of North Curry and Middlezoy.
Deborah was in the WRNS for 10 years, and more recently has worked in primary education while training with the South West Ministry Training Course.
The couple have three sons and are looking forward to living and working in the community.
