CATERING students from Bridgwater College are pictured presenting a cheque for over £300 to the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.
Receiving the cheque is Warrant Officer 1st Class Dave Irons, from 40 Commando Royal Marines.
The student raised the money through an all-day big breakfast.
Programme manager for catering, Kevin Smokcum, said: “The students were very keen to support The Royal Marines Charitable Trust because of the amazing work they do in supporting injured marines and helping their families when they need it the most.
“The group planned the menu, organised the promotion and advertising, and then opened the training restaurant early to serve their hungry customers!
“They served over 300 staff and students and raised a generous sum of money – they should be very proud of their achievements.”
