WORK has started on a £5.75million gym and rehabilitation centre at Norton Manor Camp.
The centre will allow 40 Commando Royal Marines based there to get back to full fitness more quickly.
The building, a scheme by the MoD’s Defence Infrastructure Organisation and due to open next March, will replace outdated facilities built in 1939 and include a climbing wall and hand-to-hand combat area.
