WATERSTONES in Taunton showcased a gallery of old paintings and memorabilia from their store, the former County Hotel site.
The event was attended by the Nick Axon, who managed the old hotel from 1981-1995, and he gave talks about his experiences of the building and the history behind it.
Manager Phoebe Williams said: “It was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by all. We would like the thank Nick [Axon] for coming along, it was appreciated by all.”
The store hopes to have a display of all the history completed by next month.
