COLOURFUL characters from a galaxy far, far away landed in Bishop's Hull, to attend St Margaret's Somerset Hospice's fete.

Darth Vader and the gang were on hand to keep children attend at the event, which took place outside the hospice in Heron Drive on Saturday.

The fete also featured bric-a-brac, cake and plant stalls, a clown, and the West Somerset Morris Men.

Dave Mann, the hospice's fundraising development manager, said: “It went very well and stayed dry.

“We also had a choir made up of our staff and volunteers.

“The money is still coming in but we think we raised about £3,000.”
