CHRISTMAS is over and the New Year has begun - but when is it time to take down your lights?
It is believed that you should take your lights down on the date of the 'Twelfth Night', which falls on either January 5 or 6 depending on the branch of Christianity.
Twelfth Night refers to the night before Epiphany, the day the nativity story says the wise men visited the baby Jesus.
Some consider it unlucky to leave your decorations up after the Twelfth Night.
