A WINDY day with some showers later is in store for Somerset, according to forecasters.
The Met Office says temperatures could reach a balmy 13C, although the sunshine will be shortlived.
A forecaster said: "The wind will strengthen this morning, with coastal gales likely.
"There will be some hazy sunny spells, however the cloud will thicken through the morning.
"Patchy rain will then move into the west by midday."
Tonight, the rain would continue, he said, although the wind will ease.
"During the early hours however, a band of heavy, rather persistent rain will arrive from the south," the forecaster added.
