A CHILD was hit by a car this morning in Wellington.
Police were called to the incident on Pyles Thorne Road at 9.30am.
The child had minor injuries and did not need to be taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian at 9.30am.
"The pedestrian, a child, had minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment."
