A KEEN gardener who was almost paralysed after a fall now has a specially-made greenhouse at her care home.
Margaret Scott-Whiting, 91, won first prize with her cactus at this year’s Cheddon Fitzpaine Flower Show after spending 60 years as the secretary.
And after a campaign from friends, she now has her own greenhouse at Gotton Manor Care Home to carry on her love for gardening.
Pictured is Margaret with care home staff and friends at the greenhouse opening.
