Police investigate car fire in Norton Fitzwarren
AN INVESTIGATION is underway after fire crews were called to a vehicle fire near Taunton this evening (January 20).
The Fire Service received calls reporting a car on fire in Station Road, Norton Fitzwarren, at around 5.40pm.
A team from Taunton Fire confirmed one people-carrier-type vehicle was well alight and severely damaged by fire.
A fire service spokesman said: "The vehicle was extinguished by fire crews using two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus wearers.
"The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Fire Service and Police."
