DOG owners can take their pooches along to Monkton Elm Garden Centre the next time they visit.

All well-behaved dogs on a lead will be allowed within the plant and shop areas but not the restaurant or Pondside Cafe.

General manager Norma Moore said: “We’re the only garden centre in the area that we’re aware of that welcomes dogs throughout our plant and shop areas.”
