SOMERSET County Council says drivers given parking tickets while stranded in the recent snow can appeal against them.

Musgrove Park Hospital nurse Nick Birch, of Taunton, was “surprised and dismayed” to receive a £70 ticket after the snow forced him to abandon his scooter on a verge in Parkfields Drive while riding to work.

Anybody given a parking ticket can appeal no matter what circumstances it was given.

These brainless twits they call CEOs make me laugh. I saw one the other day giving a police car ticket outside deane house. Some they have become somerset parking services they have gone mad.

Clarksons has it right, execute them all!

Little Hitler’s, I saw one the other day on a moped, so be warned they can get around quickly if someone reports an illegally parked car or if they see you on CCTV.

I believe CCTV cars will be next they don't even need to stop as they can send you the ticket in the post as they have video evidence.
