A CHARITY baseball match and barbecue brought fans of home runs and hot food to Taunton Academy.
The match on Sunday was organised by The Taunton Muskets to raise money for the Taunton Central Scouts Charity, and representatives from both groups took to the field at Cheddon Road.
The event also featured stalls, a home run competition and other family friendly activities.
The Muskets posted on their Facebook page afterwards: “Just wanted to let you all know we raised £223 for the group today so a massive thank you to everyone that supported this event.”
The Muskets formed in October last year and play in the South West Baseball League.
