GAS LEAK: Fire crews from Taunton evacuated homes as a precaution from Blackdown View following a gas leak
HOMES in Norton Fiztwarren were evacuated following a gas leak.
Fire crews from Taunton were called out to Blackdown View along with other agencies to a suspected gas leak at 7.23pm last night.
On arrival, the crews liaised with the utilities company to locate the source of the leak.
Fourteen people from Blackdown View had their homes evacuated as a precaution.
The leak was located and sealed by the utilities company.
The fire service ventilated three domestic properties and made the area safe.
