FIRE: A late night house fire broke out in Taunton on Sunday
FIREFIGHTERS attended a late night house fire in Crescent Way, Taunton.
The fire broke out on a fourth floor flat of Ladysmith House on Crescent Way in Taunton at around 11.30pm on Sunday night.
The fire service were called to reports of a smell of burning and an alarm sounding, and found a kitchen fire.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "One male occupant was led to safety.
"The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet. The flat was also ventilated."
