PHOTOS: Car destroyed in suspected arson attack
A CAR has been completely destroyed after a suspected arson attack in Taunton.
It is believed the arsonist went about causing havoc in the Winckworth Way around of Taunton, burning trees and hedges and destroying a silver Ford Focus.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue crews were called to the fire at around 4.43am this morning (Sunday).
Crews used a hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus wearers to extinguish the fire that is believed to have been started deliberately.
A second fire engine was sent to deal with a series of small fires in the surrounding area involving trees and hedges that are believed to have been caused by the same arsonist.
