A TAUNTON man is facing jail after admitting attempted robbery in the town.
Edward Bryson, 52, of no fixed address, appeared at Taunton Crown Court on February 2.
Bryson was wearing a blue tracksuit jacket with stripes down the side in the dock at court.
It is alleged that in December he attempted to steal her bag.
Judge David Ticehurst said five other offences Bryson has committed will be taken into consideration.
Defending, Rebecca Bradbury said Bryson was homeless at the time of the offences.
She asked Judge Ticehurst to adjourn the hearing so a pre -sentence report could be created.
Judge Ticehurst put his sentencing back until March 2.
"You need to understand that by adjourning your sentencing, I am leaving all options open to whoever sentences you, including an immediate prison sentence," he warned.
Bryson was remanded in custody until his next hearing on March 2 at Taunton Crown Court.
