Youngsters get grand tour from Taunton Mayor

BISHOPS Lydeard Oak Cub Pack certainly had an unusual evening last week.
The youngsters spent the evening with Mayor and Mayoress Steve and Diana Brooks and had a tour of the Old Municipal Building in Taunton.
Cllr Brooks gave the children a rundown of the building’s history, before the cubs split into pairs for the quiz.
Jodie Baker and Harriert Trawin were winners, getting 13 out of 15 questions correct.
Joint second was Luke Reandal and Harvey Purchase, with Henrey Stizaker and Kira Larcombe. Both pairs got 12 out of 15 questions correct.
