FORMER footballers are famous for talking a good game - in Wellington they're walking a good game.
A group of not so young footballers have been rolling back the years at Wellington Sports Centre.
Players aged from their 50s to mid-80s are taking part in a walking football course organised by Tone Leisure.
The sessions, funded through Knightstone to create active communities, is run every Monday from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
Walking football follows the normal rules but games are played at a less frenetic pace.
A spokeswoman said: “It provides the perfect opportunity to give those that have given up playing sport the chance to be more active again in a sociable, fun and safe way.
“Men and women of all ages and abilities are welcome, and there’s no need to book.”
