West Somerset businesses will get boost
BUSINESS owners in West Somerset can get a boost this year from a range of business courses, events and special projects.
West Somerset Council has partnered with a number of organisations to ensure support for existing businesses and new start-ups is made available locally.
The New Year will begin with business mentoring, start up courses and a conference aimed at helping businesses understand potential future opportunities at the Hinkley Point development.
Cllr David Sanders, West Somerset District Council Member for Economic Regeneration, said: “Businesses might have to join forces with others to seek out these opportunities, and some may have to upgrade some of their systems and processes, or provide their staff with additional training.”
