MINEHEAD Railway Station plays host to the Campaign for Real Ale’s 15th annual Real Ale and Cider Festival this weekend.

The CAMRA festival offers over 100 real ales served straight from the barrel, from Somerset breweries, including beers specially brewed for the festival, as well as ales from around Britain.

In a separate bar, 30 craft-produced ciders and perries will be served as well.

Sheppys, the cider sponsor, will receive an award for the CAMRA National Cider of the Year at noon on Sunday.

The festival runs from 11am to 11pm on Saturday and from noon to 4pm on Sunday.

Live music on Saturday evening will be from Four Men on the Job, whose frontman is Kevin Jones, owner of Stocklinch Brewery in Ilminster.
