ONE man was treated by paramedics after firefighters tackled a garage fire in Minehead.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident shortly before 4pm on St Michael’s Road yesterday.
Two crews from Minehead attended and upon arrival, found a small fire in a domestic garage.
One hose reel jet and one thermal image camera were used to extinguish the fire. A PPV fan was also used to disperse smoke within garage.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and damage was confined mainly to garage and slight smoke damage to adjoining property.
One man was treated on scene by fire crews for smoke inhalation until the arrival of ambulance.
