COUNCILLOR Jean Parbrook was unanimously elected to serve a second term as mayor.
Cllr Parbrook said: "I would like to thank my fellow councillors having the confidence in me to serve a second term as Mayor of Minehead.
"There is a busy year ahead and I look forward to working with West Somerset Council and others to address the issues that matter the most to Minehead.
Cllr Andrew Kingston-James, who was elected Deputy Mayor, said: "I am delighted to have been elected as Deputy Mayor and will do all I can to support the Mayor."
