Two crews sent to Monksilver chimney fire this morning
A CHIMNEY FIRE in Monksilver saw two fire engines mobilised earlier today.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident at Woodford Cottages, Woodford Road, at around 11.20am (July 10).
Two fire appliances from Williton were sent to a report of a chimney on fire in a property.
On arrival crews reported a lot of smoke issuing from the chimney stack. The incident was dealt with using a thermal image camera and chimney gear.
