A GIRL from Danesfield Middle School is jumping for joy after winning the Inter Schools Junior Showjumping Championships.
Romilly Simmons had a double clear on her pony, Lahinch Katy, with a second round time of just over 44 seconds at King’s Hall, Taunton, last Saturday.
Romilly has had her Irish pony ‘Hazel’ for nearly a year and they have proved a very successful partnership, winning a number of showjumping competitions.
One of her most recent coups was the winning of the Open Class at the Quantock Show.
