FIRE crews from Wiveliscombe were sent to an early morning chimney fire in Raddington.
One crew was sent to Little Wilscombe Lane at 5.45am and confirmed there was a chimney fire.
The crew got to work using chimney gear from the hearth.
Due to fire being confined to the chimney space of a woodburning rayburn, and the size of the premises, crews were having difficulties using chimney rods.
At 7.50am, crews confirmed the chimney fire to be out and got to work clearing and digging out the chimney.
