DONATIONS have continued to flood in for the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment (SURE) over the past two weeks.
Mrs Taylor gave £10, Mr and Mrs Bowey £10, Marina Saint £203, Fivehead WI £80 and Mr Gosney £100, Stoke St Mary Bellringers £111, Julia Stark from Somerset County Council £175 and the Monday and Friday Dance Club £140.
That gives a total of £33,008.
SURE has also announced the winner of the Christmas Quiz, organised by Peter Goodwin of Clatworthy as Marilyn Muir from Langport.
She was picked at random from the 14 entries that got 49 out of the 50 questions correct and will receive £25.
Monkton Heathfield Village Hall will play host to its regular SURE bingo on Friday night.
Eyes down is at 7.30pm.
