Taunton and Pickeridge Golf Club have appointed Mark Readman as their new executive manager.
Formally of Exeter Golf and Country Club and then Thornbury Golf Centre in Bristol, Readman brings with him more than 30 years’ experience in the leisure industry, with nearly ten years of this time spent in golf resorts in the USA.
Readman said: “Taunton and Pickeridge is Somerset’s premier golf club with a wonderful course and excellent versatile facilities for members and visitors alike.
“The opportunity to work here and build on what has been achieved so far was too good to pass up.
“These are challenging times for the golf industry as a whole so the aim will be to develop new income streams while maintaining the values of this high quality member’s club.”
