Minehead Barbarians Under 9s were too good for Bridgwater on a very cold and windy morning.
From the start the game was dominated by strong running from Henry Murrell and Harrison Lofts.
This was backed up with good defence play by Jack Lewis and Coran Davis who both displayed some solid tackling.
Bridgwater fought back, but more strong running from Murrell and Lofts saw the half end 7-5 to Minehead. The tries were scored by Murrell (3), Lofts (2), Lewis and Davis.
The second half saw a complete change for Minehead as Bridgwater only had enough players for one team.
Alistair Hilton ran some great angles with other players off-loading well in the tackle.
There was some great running from Oliver Bretherton and Ben Rexworthy with good tackling by Amiee Barnfield and Ethan Carr.
Isaac Sweetland strengthen the defence when he came on and also completed some darting runs.
The final try of the game was scored with a solo run by Jude Murray. Other scorers were Bretherton 2, Rexworthy, Carr, Hilton and Sweetland.
