CRICKET: Somerset draw with Nottinghamshire
SOMERSET'S rain-hit County Championship match with Nottinghamshire was abandoned as a draw this afternoon.
The Cidermen, who were asked to follow on after failing to add to their overnight total, were 141-2 when the rain came with Nick Compton unbeaten on 70.
Somerset collected six points to Nottinghamshire's ten. They are just eight points clear of second-from-bottom Surrey who have a game in hand.
