TAUNTON Netball Club recently won the ‘Outstanding club of the year’ award at the 2018 Netball South West Goalden Globes.
Taunton were nominated alongside Exeter Netball for the category, and it was the Somerset club which came out on top; they now go forward to the national awards in September.
The event was held at Taunton School, with Team Bath Netball’s Imogen Allison and Mia Ritchie on award presentation duty.
Taunton NC’s 2018/19 senior trials continue tonight (Thursday), from 7pm to 9pm at Taunton Vale Sports Club.
This is for Taunton’s Regional League 3, Somerset Premier and Somerset Division 1 teams.
Trials for all teams take place on Sunday, July 8 from 10am to 3pm, also at Vale.
