TAUNTON Town currently sit in 15th place in the National League South table after being in top spot under two months ago.

The slide down the table has been in large part to the amount of postponed fixtures for the Peacocks as they have played just 16 league games this season. Teams around them have upwards of 20.

Despite that, the current run of form in the league for Taunton has also been a reason as to why they have fell down the table.

The Peacocks are without a league victory since September 30, and in the time since, they have had three losses and three draws, in the league.

More concerning perhaps is that Taunton have failed to score in their last four league games as well.

In cup competitions, the Peacocks have managed to score in recent weeks, putting two past Street before defeating them on penalties and also scoring two against Welling, unfortunately losing that one on penalties.

But improvement is needed from the Peacocks in league football. However, with that being said, last season Taunton finished on 61 points with 17 wins.

They already have 24 points and six wins after 16 games, so they are on course to improve year on year.
